On the 18th of October we had our "Rock Your Socks" Day in aid of the Port Elizabeth Down Syndrome Association. Every Hurdian came to school dressed in their odd socks to create awareness regarding Down syndrome.
We raised an incredible R4795.50. We are so grateful to our Hurdian family for helping us make this possible.
A little competition started in the grades to see who could sell the most stickers:
3rd place we had Ashleigh Ndlovu from Grade 2 with 21 stickers.
2nd place we had Demi Domingo from Grade 5 with 22 stickers.
1st place we had Jaydon Doubell from Grade 3 with 40 stickers.
Thank you Herbie for your generosity!
